Director Mel Gibson received much criticism from critics and audiences for his explicit depiction of and focus on violence and on Christ's suffering, especially on the part of the Jewish community.It's truly disappointing they didn't dub it.Picked the scene were Jesus and Mary meet on the way to Golgotha to compare the English and Spanish dubbing since I'm bilingual.Also, there's a Portuguese dub, though since I don't speak it, can't give an opinion on it.The English dub was a missed opportunity.Director Mel Gibson brings the last day of Jesus (Jim Caviezel) to the screen.
